"Excellent location, spacious, clean room with a country feel. I loved the all-around heating stove and the beautiful heating stove from 1773 just took us back in time. If I stay in Gruyeres again I would choose this place again, for the above reasons. "

"Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."

By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "very nice hotel, beautiful view on the Alps, very reasonable. The restaurant is closed on wednesday, so it is wise to call ahead to make sure the door is open for you in case you arrive at odd hours. We have to share bath room and shower, but it is very clean."
