"The area was nice, conveniently located in the downtown area, and the staff there is excellent. They also provide a free breakfast as well. There were some insects in the bathroom, but that is not unusual in Tacloban. Overall the stay was very enjoyable."

"This was my second reservation for this hotel. In my first reservation things did not go well. This reservation things were much better. We had a very large room. Two floors. Good for 4. Booked for two nights. That also included four free breakfasts for each morning. We were only two. Because of a change in schedule we could not stay the whole night on the second night. "Obviously, the property is old already. I checked in on this hotel when it was still Hotel D Angelo and it was a bit okay. 20 years after, hotel needs to be renovated. Very evident that it is really old. No shampoo and soap provided. No dental kit, no free bottled water and no toilet paper. To think that its rate is expensive compared to other hotels in the same area"

Unanticipated circumstance caused me to stay in Tacloban overnight and i was uncertain where i would find a pet friendly hotel. My previous experiences staying at Summit encouraged me to begin my search there, thinking they could direct me to appropriate lodgings. I was pleased and surprised to learn that the Summit has accommodations for guests with pets. There is an additional fee for potential cleaning expenses and a substantial but fully refundable cash deposit of 5000p. Every aspect of my stay was as exceptional as I preciously experienced. "
