Welcome to "The Sunset Sail," one of the most impressive units in the Oneida Lake house. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen and dining area that leads into a living room with a sectional couch, 65" smart TV, and French doors that open to a private patio with the best view on the entire beach. You can enjoy the famous Oneida Lake sunsets all year round from this patio, which is completely private and includes a separate deck leading down to the backyard and beach.
This unit has been completely remodeled to give guests the luxury feeling of being in a brand-new beachfront resort while also being surrounded by the deep history of the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with standard plates, bowls, utensils, wine and whiskey glasses, cups, pots, pans, and more, and all appliances are brand new and ready to be used. You'll find a gas BBQ grill on the patio deck, along with a toaster, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker complete with a variety of coffee and tea pods.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with an amazing view of the water and the other with charming tones throughout. The living room has been designed with a sectional and 65" smart TV mounted on the wall that allows guests to stream their favorite apps. The dining area that holds a 6-person table connects both spaces and allows for larger gatherings or even smaller groups looking to wind down and play some of the supplied board games together.
The house is located right on the water, with expansive private beachfront property where you can enjoy the lake in literally seconds. The property is perfect for families with children, with ample room for outdoor activities on the beach and in the spacious interior of the home. We provide a plethora of board games, arcade games, and more.
We have beautiful new patio sets on the patio deck with comfy cushions for you to kick back and relax, along with patio furniture and hot tubs in the backyard. All of our TVs are "Smart TVs" which allows you to access Netflix, YouTube, Hulu or whatever networks you are subscribed to.
We allow pets under certain restrictions with a $85 pet cleaning fee and additional fees may apply for any damages or pet rules broken. Any dogs must be leashed at all times outside and cleaned up after immediately.
Please note that a video camera monitors the outside of the home for security and safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to message us.

As a guest at Oneida House, you'll have access to a large, free parking lot directly across the street. We kindly ask that you respect this arrangement and be considerate of other guests when parking.
To enter the house, all guests use the communal front door. For Unit #1 guests, your unit is located straight ahead and to the left, with the door clearly labeled as "Unit #1". You'll have access to a private balcony with a grill and seating area, as well as the backyard, beach, and shared hot tubs. Please note that there is a spiral staircase that leads up to other units, and we ask that you are mindful of other guests' privacy when using it.
All guests are welcome to enjoy the backyard, hot tubs, and beach area, but as this is a multi-unit house, we kindly ask that you are considerate of other guests. Please keep noise levels reasonable, take care when moving luggage up and down the staircases, and be respectful when interacting with other guests. Sylvan Beach is a long-standing vacation destination on Oneida Lake. It is home to great restaurants, pubs, breweries, casino’s and a historic, old time children’s amusement park. Almost all is in walking distance.

Car: This is the most convenient option if you are traveling within Blossvale or to nearby towns. There is ample parking available in Blossvale.
Bicycle: If you are looking for a more environmentally friendly way to get around, Blossvale is a great place to bike. There are a number of quiet roads in the area that are perfect for cycling.
Walking: Blossvale is a small town, so it is easy to get around on foot. If you are staying in the center of town, you can walk to most of the shops and restaurants.

Unit #1 is located on the first floor of a multi-unit building and can be accessed through the shared front door. The front door opens up to a communal laundry area that is available for all guests in the building to use free of charge. In addition, our guests have access to the backyard, which is equipped with games, seating, and hot tubs. To keep the hot tubs clean, we kindly request all guests to wash off any sand before entering the tubs.
✹A refundable security deposit hold amounting to $400.00 will be placed. Rest assured, your personal information will be handled with the highest confidentiality.✹
-Please treat our home and amenities with the same respect you would your own, leave home in same condition you found it and if you notice anything broken or out of place let us know right away
-No smoking and no recreational or illegal drug use whatsoever on the property. Any evidence of smoke in the home after check out will be subject to a $300 fine and any guests found to be partaking in illegal drug use while still inhabiting the home will be removed immediately, no refund will be issued and possible legal ramifications will ensue
-Please be extremely careful with starting a fire in the outdoor kitchen fireplace. Please clean up any garbage left around this area and use caution when enjoying a fire
-Parties are not allowed under any circumstances unless prior notice and permission is given such as a family gathering, large birthday, significant event, etc. All must be cleared by the host prior to booking
-Respect the neighbors: it is very important that noise levels are kept reasonable in the outdoor areas after 10pm. If there are any complaints we may not be able to continue hosting in the future and any repeated noise complaints will result in removal from property
-Please notify us of any extra house guests as they must be approved before staying- you may be charged an additional fee or, depending on the circumstances, we will enforce a removal from the property for all guests immediately without a refund
-Report damages and anything in non-working condition
-Please no food or drink in the bedrooms, guests will be liable to compensate host for any stains
-It is self check in and out with a smart code that will be given a few days prior to your booking. Guests are required to lock all windows and doors before they depart
-Pets must be approved before entering the home. If pets are brought in without consent from the host there will be a $250 fine and depending on the circumstances all guests may be removed from the property with out a refund.
