Great cabin all around: Clean, roomy, quiet and secluded. Kitchen is well stocked. Look forward to staying here again. Super minor issue: felt was torn on the pool table. Might have happened recently but we were a little bummed not to be able to play.

Best Cabin Yet
We have stayed in close to 25 cabins through the years. This was our favorite. It had everything we wanted...hot tub, huge space to hang out. Pool table, wood burning fireplace and outdoor firepit, mountain views, space to play games, huge kitchen, rockers and a swing for coffee with a mountain view. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had to drive a bit to find our favorite hikes(we are avid hikers), but it was close to the BRP so the drives were a part of the experience. Highly recommend. We will return!

We loved it so much! Especially the game room. We were blessed finding this cabin. If we’re going to be in Cherokee again, we’re gonna book this cabin once again. This was our home away from home.

Wonderful weekend. Plenty of space for a group. Very clean and well stocked property. You can tell that the owners love this cabin & want others to love this property as well. New and clean showers. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, & towels. Great cabin to stay in and cook, watch movies, play games, spend time together, & do puzzles. Would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent floor plan for sleeping multi-generations and unrelated.
We booked for the family to attend a WCU Spring graduation. We all highly recommend the Timberidge Lodge. We conserved use of water and staggered showers heeding the warning about the pump running dry. We never had any water shortage. We ran the dishwasher once daily and the washer/dryer once. Both caused no water shortage. Hot water quickly reached the upstairs bathroom. The home was well stocked with kitchen pots, pans, utensils, and baking dishes of all types. We used the electric griddle for pancakes, toaster, coffee pot, large pots for spaghetti and sauce, baking pans, etc. Whatever the cooks in the family needed, they found somewhere in the kitchen. We brought a lot of paper plates and cups as well as plastic utensils, but there were enough real dishes and silverware on hand had we wanted to use them. We suggest that the kitchen be stocked with more cloth dish towels. We could not find a bucket to use when some cool grease was spilled on the floor. We found a mop and used a empty small trash can to clean up the mess quickly before someone slipped. The home was well stocked with quality white towels. There were even enough for the “younger generation” (20-30 year olds) who think they need to use many a day. There were a washer and dryer. Sheets were crisp white like those found in luxury hotels.. With both well-furnished first floor great room and a lower-level great room, there was plenty of room for everyone to gather or to seek out quiet time for reading. There was a huge stock of games for all ages stored in the closet. The TVs worked and got good signal. WiFi was available. We had no problem getting good cellular service for our phones, etc., in that location. The 3-D tour on the booking website allowed us to plan ahead as to who slept where. The decor was charming with many interesting additions. The country lodge was as pictured in the advertisement. The rntire family recommends it.

Loved the location, layout of the cabin, and the amenities!
We had a wonderful time making sweet memories with family. the location was perfect with a beautiful view, privacy, trails to walk, a view of a creek, and the fire pit. We had a fire going in the fireplace the whole time and it was simply sublime! The layout of the cabin was very good for our group. We'd love to go back to this cabin, but we've decided we would not go back unless the mattresses and bedding were updated. We were so uncomfortable in the beds that it kept us awake throughout the nights. We also found some cleanliness issues that were distasteful, such as obviously dirty towels still hanging on the back of doors upon our arrival, very dusty decor, and dirty dishes in the cupboards/drawers. We understand log cabin walls and ceilings are not easy to keep dust free, but easily assessible decor had layers of dust on them. In the downstairs bedroom, mice could be heard scurrying through the walls and kept people awake at night. As much as I hate to be negative at all about this cabin because it could be an awesome rental - one that we'd return to- we feel its necessary to point out these issues in hopes that changes will be made.

Great experience
Like most mountain cabins, this one had plenty of space, as well as the usual beautiful deck views. However, the charming fire pit (set up on the front side of the house) was an added bonus, along with the flat backyard for popular cornhole tournaments. What proved to be the most valuable was the long terminating driveway that guaranteed maximum privacy and seclusion for our reunion of 50-yr old professional male colleagues.

Family vacation
Our family had a wonderful time! We will definitely be returning. The backyard view of the mountains is spectacular. There is a 10 minute trail located on the property that takes you to a waterfall and little stream. The driveway is very steep in the beginning. Our vehicles made it, but they were struggling. Would have been better with 4 wheel drive. Overall, our entire family loved it and didn’t want to leave. The cabin has everything you need, even a baby gate and high chair. It’s warm, inviting, and has a family friendly feel.
