"The location was good, the price was right and the staff was great. However, there was no AC and the bed frames were very noisy and shook quite a bit getting in and out, and if you moved at all. Also, they did not supply towels, but you could buy one for $8. As far as hostels go, I would recommend it compared to what else is out there "

"In this backpacker hotel, I stayed for 5 days. It is very close to the city, and just opposite Coles shopping to buy some food for my dinner and breakfast at the backpacker hotel. Put it in the fridge with name label stickers. All very safe and very friendly staff. A very nice manager who looks after tourists stay. I give it a 5-star rating. "Left after 1 night of a 3 night stay in a dorm. Mold in the bathroom. Beds shook wildly with any slight movement at all. The pillows had large stains and the blanket didn’t smell cleaned. I’ve stayed at hostels in dorms all over the world, and this one had the most inconsiderate guests ever. French people talking on their phones loudly all through the night. The reviews on this place made me book, but they are terribly inaccurate. "
