"House was perfect for a weekend of skiing. You’re able to walk to the resort from the house which was a huge plus since it was a packed weekend. Overall great stay! "

"The property was gorgeous and just as described. The views were absolutely beautiful. The hot tub didn’t looked to have been serviced recently but really the only negative was the stairs. The stairs from the driveway to the front door had tons of leaves daily, a leaf blower would have been great. The lighting at the top of the stairs didn’t work at all, it is very dangerous at night. Overall it was a great property and ideal for peak fall foliage week! "

"Everything was as advertised- family of 6 was well accommodated for a Thanksgiving weekend. Very cold windy and snowy outside but house was warm and comfortable. Very large kitchen was well suited for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. "

"This was the prefect house for the holiday. Plenty of space for our family yet very cozy. The temps were cold and we had the fire place going every night. The views from the main room and master suite were breathtaking. The owners were very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a mountain getaway to Wintergreen resort!"

"Arrived at this cozy Craftsman with my sisters for our annual sisters’ weekend. We had a little delay with the entry code not working but were able to text with the property mgmt company and get the help we needed. The house is darling, a renovated Craftsman with some of the architectural charm left intact. It’s close to the heart of Staunton which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house is great. Beds are comfortable but are a little small to share."

"Our stay was great. I think, It’s located within the wintergreen resort properties. so it’s secluded yet lots of cabins around to make you feel safe. The house itself is well stocked with kitchen gadgets, from basics like coffee maker to air fryer, grinder etc. All the bedrooms are in the lower floor and they could use some updates. The bedrooms had a musty smell when entering. But there are air purifiers in the room, which was helpful to remove the smell. Apart from that we had a great stay....

"This home did not disappoint. We had everything we could possibly need. I loved the little signs around the home that explained different things. The welcome basket was a very nice touch. It was warm and cozy. There are just so many nice little touches you just need to rent this beautiful home and experience them for yourselves. Probably one of the best homes we have ever rented to be quite honest. Check it out you won't be disappointed."

"We traveled X-country from TX to meet up with our adult daughter & her partner, who traveled down from NJ, and we decided that western Virginia was a good place to hold our reunion just before Christmas. We were lucky to find Bud's Place. It is a lovely home, nicely decorated for Christmas, & there were plenty of spaces for us to be together to eat, play, or hang out, as well as places for us to retreat to for some privacy or work. Since the weather was so cold while we were there, we hung...

"This was our second stay here, and, again, it was the perfect house with the perfect location. The weather wasn't all that great for skiing, but luckily it had been the weeks leading up to our stay so there was plenty of skiing to be done. The house has all of the amenities you can think of. It is well stocked and comfortable."
