"There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it. Someone else parked in our designated space on our final night...

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"Good points - very dog friendly, easily accessible shared garden area, comfy bed, powerful shower, excellent curry delivered from next door Niggles - large green light permanently on in the ceiling, flooded the whole room with a green glow that kept us awake. Very thin walls which are not great when the guests in the neighbouring room stay up until 2am, no ventilation (no window to open) so very stuffy even in December"

"Wrong address on listing. No answer to phone number on listing. Garbage in apt not emptied. Oven dirty not cleaned. No information in apt for wifi and no information sent in emails. We had to open all cupboards to find router which had username and password on back. Only 50% of side lamps worked... bulbs dead. Black mold observed in many areas. No communication with manager, if we could give zero we would. Hopfully this review will prevent anyone from going through the same experience."
