"Had a fab time and the staff were very friendly. We arrived at 2.30 so were told we couldn’t check in until 3 pm so we went to the bar for food and drinks. We were there until 4 so spent quite a bit then when we checked in we were then told we could have 10% off food and drink so my only suggestion would be to have this available as soon as people arrive as we had spent quite a lot. "

"Perfectly located, very nice staff, comfortable rooms and aptly priced. It's a cozy hotel where lots of people congregate to have a good time, so expect during the weekends that there will be noise (music, laughter, increasing in intensity as people drink more) late at night. This is because the rooms are close to the bar and fireplace area (I'd suggest the hotel to have a quiet time starting at 10pm or 11pm at most). "Room was lovely and clean. Brand new bathroom. Rest of room could do with updating but room was spotless. I had one of the rooms that opened to outside. The door was a little drafty was the only downside so had to turn the heating upto max to stay warm. But would 100% stay again."

"Nice building, above a pub-restaurant, kind and friendly service. Pet friendly. The room was rather small, without even a small wardrobe. The bathroom was really minimal, with the toilet practically wedged under the sink. Excellent starting point during our visit between Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, good for a weekend. "Friendly staff. Rooms are older, but the Inn was built in the 1500's, so what do you expect? Rooms were a great size and the water pressure was outstanding. Breakfast was great and included with our stay. Good restaurant too for dinner."

"Excellent value accommodation in an area where hotels etc are really expensive. Easy to check into reception, room is clean and has everything you’d need. It was very quiet and not many folk staying. Security is a bonus ….. we were really impressed and will come again. "
