"The staff was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. It's 10 minutes from downtown which was convenient for us to visit family. The rooms are as expected in a motel but the beds are comfortable for a no frills stay. It really is the best option for Old Saybrook for reasonable price. It is right off I-95 but the double paned windows they put in keep the highway noise low. I couldn't hear it at night. I highly recommend the Liberty Inn."

"The main heating system was broken, requiring use of the backup system. The room was EXTREMELY cold and it took nearly an hour to warm up. No one had gone into the room to preheat it. Poor service.
