"The hotel is an amazing historic property. It is extremely well maintained and the staff are excellent. "

"We stayed two nights at the « Commonwealth » and appreciated our stay. Be aware that some rooms have a window with no view (the window faces the wall) and this is not clearly stated on the reservation. We had to upgrade to another room as we cannot stand not seeing the outside. Otherwise, rooms are nice and big, there is a need of better communication from the front desk personnel so that we feel welcome (a smile is free of charge)"

"The hotel is fine, it is clean and comfortable. The room is well equipped and has a fridge and coffee machine. The street it is on is not good. Closed shops, vape shops, thrift shops. It is surrounded by a university campus."

"It was a beautiful historic hotel with a spacious clean room. The only negative was that the A/C system couldn’t keep up so it would stay quite warm. I am not sure if this was an individual room issue, or for the hotel entirely. Otherwise, the staff was wonderful and inviting including Annabell the lobby cat. "
