"Great hotel, vaue for money, a bit dated could do with an update throughout. Decent breakfast too. Plenty of bars and pubs around, i would recommend Chaplins pub on open mic night"

"The only down side was the parking! As there was a conference, there were no parking spaces. We were given an emergency parking space though. "

"We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Grand. We booked the lowest cost room which was compact but comfortable. We had a great view over the sea. Staff were helpful and food was great. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, and its possible to walk to the beach for a plunge. Its a pleasant 10 minute walk to the town centre."

"The hotel is ‘of its day’ in style and furniture but the warm welcome and helpfulness of staff made up for the slightly tired decor. Friendly Resturant staff and excellent tasty breakfast. All in all, with good transport links, near to beach and decent facilities it’s a great place to stay. "
