"I was greeted by a very plesant gentelman who dispite my 5 hour journey made me smile and relaxed the check in was smooth a quick.The room although very warm was clean the bed was extremely comfy i slept on top ofthe covers how i was born .The breakfast was exceptional . The staff are very welcoming and chatty. My only slight disappointment is the bar next to the restaurant was closed early and i was moved to the front bar which has a very distinctive smell of fish. "The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"The rooms are in outbuildings to the main pub. The old brick buildings are clearly worn, with paint chipping, large cracks in the ceiling, large stains on the carpet and generally in need of a refurb. The furniture is in a good state of repair and the bed is super comfortable. No fans available despite it being August and in the mid 20’s. Have stayed in a Marston Inn previously and had an excellent experience, however this one was well off the mark."

"Easy check in at the bar and a friendly welcome. Car park was big enough to find a space at the rear. Room was clean and cosy, and I slept soundly. DIY breakfast in the room, though hot meals available for those planning a longer stay. Good, honest establishment and great value for money."

"The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''"

"The pub restaurant has fantastic food and nice staff although the room was cold already when we arrived and an extra electric radiator was is place. We woke up at the middle of the night and all central radiators were off, we musste take the kids into our bed to warm up! The radiator was on only at 6:30 am. Not recomendável during winter time "

"Booked a twin room which they'd double booked our room but they did managed to sort out 2 single rooms which actually worked much better for my housemate and I. Overall the building is very rustic and quite quaint, the rooms are decently sized, the beds are comfy enough for the short term and the bathroom is very modern. Unsure if there's wifi as I didn't have any for the whole stay but as i was visiting to see family it didn't really bother me that much."

"The Barn was superb, the only thing that let it down was the pub opposite wasn’t open until the Wednesday of our stay and didn’t serve food until the Friday and that was the day of our homecoming."
