"Surf City is a very laid back place with not much to do in terms of activities but the beach is peaceful, beautiful and clean. The house we have been is clean, well maintained with all the amenities needed to get the feel of home. It has beautiful views from the deck towards the swamps. The hosts were very courteous and helpful. Overall our trip was very peaceful and quiet time to catch up with family."

"This beach house was huge! There was lots of room for everyone to spread out. The basketball and foosball were great for the boys. We loved that the two queen rooms went out to the hot tub. There are 4 full showers! They also provide shower towels and beach towels. The two washers and dryers were great to keep up with the towels. The top floor is stunning. Beautiful views and desk. "Perfect for our group. Great sleeping space and wonderful multi-level deck! Was a treat to walk a few steps onto the sand to enjoy the beach for fishing, strolling and enjoying time with the family!"

"This property is oceanfront and in the perfect location! Very nice place and plenty of room for all 8 of us. Upon check-in we did notice sand on the kitchen counters, in the kitchen floor, in some of the bedroom drawers and on the sofas. There was also trash from the previous renter on the floor under the edge of the sofa. But these were easily fixed and the rest of the unit was very clean! Owner was attentive and responsive, and great about keeping us updated on the tropical storm moving...

The property owner was very gracious and pleasant in her communications with us, and the housekeeper texted us her name and numton the day of arrival in case we needed anything. "This property is EXACTLY as described. Fully stocked, perfect backyard paradise, beautifully appointed, kid and tween approved, and right across the street and a short walk down to the beach access (#24). This part of the beach was not crowded even on a perfect weather, long weekend. There is no public lot at this access which I believe helped. It's well appointed, clean, and stocked; and you just can't beat the location. Truly close to everything. Thanks for another great Surf City vacation--we'll be back again soon!"

"We had a great trip! The only thing to consider is if you have anyone staying or visiting that may be physically handicapped (and we did), be prepared to carry them up and down the staircase to get inside. There are no ramps or anything like that. to get inside and out."
