"The Northwinds Hotel exceeded my expectations based on the price. We had a nice spacious family room with a huge balcony overlooking the front of the property with mountain views, which were stunning. The room was in great condition and looked recently renovated and was modern and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom large with a double shower. Cleaning was on request rather than daily but was very good. The onsite restaurant does good breakfast but lacks a bit of character. The hotel is towards the edge of town but still walkable (15mins) in to the centre for shops, bars and restaurants etc. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would definitely stay again and recommend it."

"Great place great rate for a loft with a kitchen had an actual working fireplace. A hatchet would havr been nice for the wood. Other than being 2km from anytbing it was a great place to stay and not a big deal . They offer a shuttle for free to and from and they procide you with a schedule. "

Superb staff, good, well-appointed rooms, great pool, hot tub and fitness centre, and the Table restaurant is excellent -- excellect food and proper 20oz pints our pick for best value restaurant in Canmore.
