"Conveniently located within walking distance from JR Wakayama and in front of the bus station, hotel is well situated for travelling to other parts of Wakayama or within the city. Hotel is pretty old and rooms are small sized. Bathroom is pretty compact which is typical of Japanese hotels. Do not get a room near the lift as walls are thin and can hear the lift moving up and down. Rooms are actually quite dusty as there were visible dust balls on the tea packets. It is also close to the castle and other tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel has rental bicycles which were only 100 Yen which was cheap and convenient. The hotel seems like it needs to be updated as it looks a bit old in places, however it was very clean. It was very good value."
