"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. "This is the cutest little cabin! It is perfectly organized, open and bright, clean, comfortable, and relatively close to many different attractions. While the weather was a little rainy and we didn't get to hike or fish, it is a location we'd love to visit again! For those who want to know...the shower is fantastic with great heat and pressure, and the bed is firm. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates/pans/silverware and a Keurig with K-cups. "This is our second stay at this beautiful property. We rang in the New Year at Mandolin Ridge and it was beautiful. We were greeted with the birth of two baby goats which was quite auspicious. The home is spacious and like going to a comfortable, beautifully appointed museum. Each room has hidden delights. A feast for the eyes indeed. The host, Loribeth, is considerate and warm as well detail oriented. It is clear she wants to provide excellence! Mandolin Ridge and Loribeth really deliver."
