"Fantastic location, great hosts, lots to do. If what you are looking for is an actual "local" experience in the Bitterroot Valley, you will be in the right place. The owners live on the property and are great with local knowledge and contacts. The cabin (Cutthroat for us) is compact but comfortable and has everything you need for self-service for a family. Important caveat: they have chickens and geese, so dogs have to be on leash or inside at all times. Also, the Gander can get a bit aggressive. Enjoy the great outdoors and a slower pace of life!"

"This is the perfect cabin for a couple to getaway. Every detail has been thought of. The cabin is so charming and comfortable with cute little details in every nook and cranny. The hosts were helpful, and though they live nearby, it feels very private. But it’s nice to know they are there if you have questions. We definitely want to come back! "

"Our group spent Presidents Day weekend skiing at Lost Trail. We chose the Riverhouse due to its great location to Lost Trail and the ratings it has received. Both items fit as advertised. The house was clean and a great accommodation for our small group. The convenience to Lost Trail was as good as it gets. Watching elk each day from the living room window is a definite bonus. This will be our first choice for our next trip to Lost Trail."
