Enjoy the mountain and lake views of this beautiful custom home tucked along the edge of the Pintler Wilderness Area. Picture yourself relaxing with your morning coffee on the sunny deck or screened porch before you walk out the door to endless trails for hiking, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, or snowshoeing. Or try your hand at catching dinner in Blue Ribbon Rock Creek (30min) or Georgetown Lake (3min). Be on the slopes of Ski Discovery in 20 minutes! Finally, end your day lounging with a fire in the fireplace or s'mores around the firepit.

The 5-Lazy-E's meticulous decor is an artful blend of the modern and rustic, with custom touches throughout. Fiber WiFi, 5G/LTE coverage, TV w/DVD, SONOS sound system (and BT speaker) are available. Master bedroom suite on main level. Hardwood floors throughout (basement is stained concrete), down and down alternative comforters and pillows in all bedrooms. There are 3 Queen Bedrooms, 1 Double bedroom & 1 bunk room (4x singles). A pull out couch in basement & fouton in loft.
Well-behaved dogs considered. No indoor smoking allowed.

We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! The cabin was amazing and very well stocked, plenty of wildlife around the cabin, and the host was an absolute pleasure. We are already planning to stay at this cabin again next year!

Great family gathering location.
Had an awesome time at this beautiful spacious cabin. The proximity to Discovery Ski Area is great and there’s plenty of parking for family to convene on this location. There’s everything for cooking dinners here, just bring your ingredients and enjoy a very large, well-layed-out workspace. It’s so nice waking up to a view of Georgetown lake and the mountains behind it. We had a memorable time.

Amazing Family Getaway
My husband and I spent the weekend at this great little getaway with our close family. There were 12 of us in total. The views were amazing and it was just a quick drive away from the lake. It was clean and accommodating. We loved the character of the property and enjoyed our stay!

Great Ski Getaway!
We spent 4 nights at the cabin and it was the perfect location for our ski getaway at Discovery. The owner is super responsive and the house is in a great location with views that are to die for. The kids loved the karaoke machine and the sleds. This is our second stay at this property (first stay was 4 years ago) and you can't beat the location.

Very spacious house, plenty of room to spread out. Downstairs game room with a TV and upstairs loft with a TV. Grown ups could relax in the great room while the kids were entertained. We were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful cabin nestled above Georgetown Lake
We gathered for a 86th Birthday party with family from several locations. This cabin had beautiful views of the lake, was quiet, cozy, well equipped, clean. The layout with multiple levels, decks, 3.5 bathrooms and large open gathering area around a fireplace suited our gathering perfectly. The owner was very easy to work with and the neighborhood quiet with easy access to walks/hikes.

Spectacular views from mountain home
We enjoyed exploring the Georgetown Lake area. It has many outdoor activities to offer. This home was well suited for our family and provided privacy. Our kids enjoyed the family room that kept them entertained while the rest of us sat on the deck taking in the amazing view. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in. It had comfy beds with black out curtains. It also was well stocked.

Amazing, comfortable cabin
We ski at Discovery Basin each year. This cabin is a perfect distance from the slopes, and has a great entry for lots of ski gear. The owner was easy to get ahold of and wonderful to work with. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub, as well as the fireplace in the living room. The cabin’s floor plan is well thought out, and the decor is full of character. We cook a lot and loved the kitchen. You can’t help but enjoy yourself.

Spectacular!
Each year our family picks a different locale to gather for our annual family Christmas getaway and this property was our choice for 2022. It did not disappoint! The views were stunning and the cabin was spacious and cozy. The decor was nicely done and had a lot of history. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. After six years of this family tradition, we all agreed this stay ranked at the top of our list!

Wonderful memories
The home is great, the patios are great with beautiful views. The games supplied were great and the game room was a fantastic. Only suggestion I have for is linens, we had no dishrags and bunk beds were not made and had trouble finding sheets But we would definitely recommend and stay again. The home is beautiful and everything we could have wished for. Thank you. Ps we loved having are dogs with us and the house did not smell like dogs! Set up so nice!

Beautiful getaway!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our holiday family getaway. Most importantly, the beds were so comfortable and we all slept great! It was a short distance from Discovery Ski area and was festively decorated for the holidays which was a great touch! The only recommendation that I would make is a better cleaning job. Many of the kitchen dishes and appliances were dirty and some of the beds were dusty as if no one had been in them in a while. Otherwise, it was an amazing place and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing view, but a little dirty
The placement of this cabin on the hillside was amazing. Had a great view of the lake and mountainside. Definitely worth the money. The only problem my wife, my friends and I had was that it was dirty in multiple places. We found blood on a set of sheets, and also smelled like dog pee in several areas of the cabin. Also found a child’s shirt in the sofa bed in the basement. Shows not frequently cleaned. Also sad the pinball machine didn’t work. Still, overall a great cabin though!!!

Wonderful Winter Retreat!
This cabin is located about 20 mins from Discovery ski area. This cabin provides everything you need for a wonderful winter retreat! It has everything you need from a cozy fireplace to great man cave! The hot tub was perfect for after a cold ski day! For anyone renting in the future I would make these recommendations! I when using Apple Maps it will place you just short of the driveway. The address is accurate on VRBO and gives you a good idea where you need to be when you check the map. It is just a little further down the road than shown on maps. One mistake we made was we did not bring enough food for the 4 days we were staying. Bring a big cooler if you wish to spend all of your time there. The nearest town(30 mins), Anaconda, has some great restaurants and grocery stores. We would recommend Donivan’s if looking for a great place to eat. Our trip was everything I hoped it would be! Thank you for such a great stay!
