"The rooms on the first floor smell bad. It's pet friendly but carpeys need to be cleaned because it smells like a dozen wet dogs. Also there is paint everywhere. Molding is in bad repair, chipped sinks, and big hotel sign is not lit."

"We really like how close the hotel is to restaurants, the mall, etc. The staff were all helpful and super friendly. The pool was a favorite with our kids! The only downside for us was that the hotel is under major construction. They are doing their best to accommodate guests during this time but just something to be aware of. We would stay here again. "

"It was a quick stay, as we arrived late at night (after 10pm) and departed in the morning around 9am. It was pet friendly and fairly close to the border. I imagine it would have a different feel in the summer, as the pool and hot tub was closed. We were impressed by the breakfast, which wasn’t great, but exceeded our expectations. Also, a disc golf course was within a 10 minute walking distance of the hotel. BIG plus. "

"College visit with family. Easy access to Western Washington University. Clean room on upper floor away from pool. Tons of parking. Great service at front desk at all times, checkin, after dinner and middle of night check out. B-Town restaurant was tasty, great happy hour too. Only con was flat pillows and low water pressure in shower. Still a hot shower! "

"They staff at Coachman are fantastic . Nice breakfast and very attentive staff. Helpful when we came in very late and had to adjust our plans a bit. Would for sure stay here again. "

"The Heliotrope was a great small motel. Pretty close to the center of town. Not really walking distance, but a bike would be perfect. Friendly staff. Close to RR tracks but they provide earplugs. I didn't even hear the train but, my partner did. All and all a really nice spot at a good price. "

"This property is budget-friendly and sometimes that is a risk. However the customer service was excellent and the accommodations were clean and you could tell attention was given to detail. I had a very pleasant stay and will visit again."

"Old hotel lacked the normal conveniences, like phone, bedroom dresser, handwash soap. Suite with kitchenette lacked cookware & utensils. When asked if we wanted these in the room, we said yes, but had to ask again after checking in. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is great for shopping and dining downtown. "
