"Check in went smooth, room was a bit outdated and small toiletries insufficient for a shower and hair wash. We tried the pool area which was relaxing after our long drive. On check out the receptionist said only cash and I had to go around the village for a cash machine, after a good 15min I checked with another hotel and they took me in person to the only cash machine of the village located inside a bank which wasn’t opened at 7:30am. "Had a lovely spa break. Our stay was kickstarted with a lovely welcome, made to feel like family and instantly given a glass of bubbles and shown to lunch. The photos don’t do the spa area justice, it is gorgeous! We spent a lovely afternoon using the saunas, pool and relaxation room. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and nicely updated. We spent a lot of time on our balcony watching hikers go by and marveling at the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although its outside of the city, there are several small towns near by. The area is very charming and there's plenty of hiking and biking right outside of your door. "

"What a gem of a hotel! Beautiful exterior, and the indoor decor makes you feel warm and cozy. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming we felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, well thought-out, comfortable and immaculate. We opted to pay a little extra to have dinner included; the meal was delicious. Sadly, our schedule only allowed one night's stay; hopefully we'll get to return for a more leisurely visit."
