"This hotel is a gem! Although our stay was short we really enjoyed the hotel and we would definitely come back if we return to the area. It’s located in a small island with many activities to enjoy- walk, jog, swim, go to the spa. We booked a room overlooking the water and it was extremely nice and quiet. The room had a good size and the bathroom was clean and nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"A very stylish 'farm' in the Stockholm archipelago. The staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation / dining areas were absolutely gorgeous - a real treat to have such chic surroundings in a rural farm! We did the glamping which was fantastic - and gorgeous bathroom block to share with only 2 other tents. We loved the variety of animals around the farm and the various activities kept us busy for 3 days- although I wouldn't necessarily advise staying much...

"Great place, really difficult to get in touch with the staff to ask about the free breakfast offering. Great place to stay at offseason, few neighbours and calm environment. There is a fridge where you can store your own food because there is no place to buy any at the kastellet-island. You can not cook anything so only bring ready to eat food."

"The hotel was very, very clean and up. Kept for being over 300 years old. I love the building and the surrounding area. Every place in town was easily walkable. Plenty of activities to do water in front for water taxi's. Transportation to surrounding areas very easily accessible and very cheap using water. And buses for transportation."

"The hotel claimed they had no reservation for us. They blamed ebookers. Ebookers claimed there was a reservation and blamed the hotel. None of which was of any use to us, abroad, in the middle of nowhere and no other hotels available within 50km. Stranded with nowhere to stay and no accountability from either the hotel or ebookers."

"Staying in the hotel or the cottages must be nice, but at the hostel, the room was really small and not so clean. And if you are coming from the ferry, you'll have to walk a while with your luggage. It was really quiet in September, but it was nice."

"Andreas’s house is lovely and secluded. It has all the amenities you need for a stay and we had a fabulous time. Close enough to Stockholm and Uppsala for day trips.
