"The hotel has a lovely appearance from the outside and the view from our room was nice but check in was cold and abrupt with limited information. We felt we had to ask for information on everything and that we were bothering them. Bright lights shining from outside into the early hours at night, telephone not working so no one to report to. "Wonderful staff, classic dignified hotel with beautiful marble floor and staircase (though elevator also easy-access!). Very nice and thoughtful room amenities. Across the street from Mozarteum University, so free and excellent student recitals are possible. Location close to convenient bus to airport and all major Salzburg attractions. Would highly recommend. "
