"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. "My teenagers and I really enjoyed staying in this pretty cottage. The location is very rural and quiet. Because it is in between the Dordogne regions of Rocamdour and Beynac, there are so many things to see under an hours drive. Then home to enjoy the swimming pool. "The pool is lovely, the only downside was that there is no WiFi although we managed to get mobile signal most of the time. It's 10 minutes from Sarlat-le-Caneda which has a stunning old town, it's also 15 minutes from some beautiful gardens, under 30 minutes to several stunning villages built into the cliffs, and an hour away from the absolutely stunning Rocamadour. There are plenty of caves if you enjoy that, Domme is within half an hour, and there are also quite a few options within 30...
