"We booked this place only for a couple of nights as we needed somewhere to stay whilst i attended a local hospital. The property itself is nicely renovated, keeping old features of the barn with modern heating and bathroom etc which was lovely. Checkin was easy and the owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice big sofa and clean everywhere, nice bath and underfloor heating. The surrounding area is lovely, and I imagine if we attended during a time where the whole country wasnt...

"Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. "Lovely cottage, full of charm, great location and only a stone throw from the Main Street with an abundance of independent shops including a butchers and cute deli. Communication from the host was good and check in was easy Thank you for the milk and cake which was a lovely surprise. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "
