"We originally booked an in-law suite at a private residence with a private entrance. When we got to the address it was a motel 6 that we did not want or make reservations at but we're stuck at. We went to check out a day early they didn't have us in the system whoever has the property that we originally signed up for did a bait and switch. We were not happy with our accommodations at all. "It’s the coziest of cabins snuggled into the mountains! Close (40ish min drive) to Shenadoah National park for great hiking. A ten minute drive to its own cute little downtown. Do not recommend suicases with wheels, only pack duffle bags as the entrance to the cabin is up a few rocky steps- nothing that hindered us but did see noted in other reviews. "

"We are a group of Civil War reenactors that were in town for the Battle of Cedar Creek reenactment. The house and property are beautiful and clean. There was a small issue with the electricity that was resolved quickly. Some of the outside lights (dusk/dawn light above main stairs) didn’t come on. Overall, we highly recommend this house and property. The gorgeous location and beautiful house make for a great getaway. "
