"On our way to Melissa's we were informed that the location changed as the advertised holiday location was no longer in use. We were directed to another location in Strand that did not have a garden/swimming pool or any view. It looked like a half way completed flat with small living quarters. When we said we are unhappy, or and my family was asked to wait while an alternative arrangement was made. After 30minutes we've decided to seek other accommodation and requested our money back. "The property was excellent value for money and was a good location for the beach and local bars eateries shops It made a good base to explore other areas in the western cape The property needs some updating and new mattresses would be a bonus and made the stay a little more comfortable Overall though fully enjoyed our time at this property and Flippie was an excellent host"
