"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. The floors, made of black polished concrete, were a constant source of frustration as stepping out of the shower inevitably resulted in blackened feet. I must commend...

"The location and view are incredible. There are so many things wrong with this apartment. From black mold in the shower and underneath the kitchen sink, water damage on the walls. The bath and basins drain slowly. The plugs on the lamps are broken and tv not tuned. The towels are torn and stained. I would recommend that the owners get a maintenance crew in there to repair everything. People don’t want to pay good money to slip off a loose toilet seat."

"On our way to Melissa's we were informed that the location changed as the advertised holiday location was no longer in use. We were directed to another location in Strand that did not have a garden/swimming pool or any view. It looked like a half way completed flat with small living quarters.
