"Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. "Great spot to stay while in Derry! The room and private bathroom were good sizes - enough space for my partner and I with our luggage. We were able to store our luggage with the key shop in front before our check-in time which was clutch. There was a shared kitchen on our floor which also included a washing machine. Didn’t need to use the washing machine but could be useful. The kitchen was stacked and even had some fruit and bread. Place was centrally located and walking distance to everything...

"The guy who owns the property is a character, and he clearly loves the history of the house. However, the rooms are in disrepair—open electrical sockets! Stuff is everywhere. The place still needs a lot of work. It smells throughout the house of cigar or pipe smoke. The B&B itself could be amazing but it needs professional management!"

"What an amazing host! Since so many others had cancelled because of the virus scare, the host offered my friend and i not only our choice of rooms, but also threw in an extra room! (We had originally booked one room, two beds). Hopefully the circumstances which allowed him that freedom will be over soon, but that is the kind of thoughtful service that I expect will come out in other ways once things get back to normal. "

"We had a brilliant few days here. Gorgeous house equipped with all the mod cons you could wish for - enough tvs and WiFi to keep teenagers happy - even an airfryer! The grounds were beautiful and our dog had a wonderful time exploring them. We enjoyed tennis and the lovely riverside walks a few minutes walk away. Quiet and peaceful but close to main towns.
