"The home was clean and well cared for, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for every where we wanted to go. We had shopping near by to keep us in groceries, and we had easy access to roads to get us to/from area sites and attractions. The one snow day we had, someone came and cleared the walkways and driveway so we didn't have to, that was a nice surprise, and they even rolled the garbage can out and back on pick up day. "

"What a delight to open the kitchen curtains and seeing the beautiful lake! Peaceful, refreshing, perfect way to start the holiday or any memory moment! This was our second stay at the house and it was better than the first! We hiked locally and enjoyed the events throughout the town. "

"I’m grateful we found a property that fit our family size. We wanted to introduce my family to CT and be their tour guide. The house itself needs some tlc. Judge for yourself. I personally wouldn’t choose this again. "

"Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby. Many great restaurants in the area as well. Although we did not partake, there is a great rail trail nearby for hiking, walking, etc. The home listing is very accurate, the kitchen is well equipped, and the cleanliness of the home is top notch. "Cosy cottage house with a lovely large deck and backyard with direct access to the lake. We enjoyed the house amenities. Not sure the dishwasher works well: dishes in the kitchen cabinets were not the cleanest upon arrival. The bathroom water had a strange sulfur-like smell. We used bottled water to brush teeth and did not drink out of the kitchen either. Other than that, the house was quite pleasant and comfortable."

"Let's start with the good. Convenient location for our son's wedding at Evergreen Farms, lots of space and parking, modern kitchen, working internet and modern TVs (that even allowed streaming from our phones). Easy interactions with both the manager and the owner. Now the not-so-good. First, the owner was supposed to meet us at check-in, but never showed up. We were given the lockbox code so we were able to get in without a problem, but no tour. The odd decor hits you immediately upon entry....

"This was a lovely place to stay after a day at the spa. Super clean, updated, easy check in. The only thing we didnt like was the foam mattress on the bed. You would sink into a hole, making it hard to move. But nothing that would make me not stay here again. 5/5 would recommend "

"The perfect place to relax and get ready for a night out after an amazing day at the spa. Wish we had more time to enjoy the fireplace and rhe balcony. Nice open space wirh plenty of room and very well equipped, comfortable. We loved it!"
