"We stayed for just one night in the way home from London over Xmas and the room was small but very modern and warm we stayed in room 3 but unfortunately the from door was very noisey when people coming in and out as it had to be banged and also the people upstairs seemed to have been walking a lot and the floor boards were very creaky. I did inform the owner and I’m sure he will look into this. It’s a lovely area very quaint but very quiet with only a pub across the road which was fine to eat...

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. "Beautiful property, really clean and perfect little breakfast in the fridge in room. Lovely texts from Arden to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Rooms would benefit from some black out curtains to complement the lovely blinds, however there was a sleep/eye mask provided which was appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, felt very comfortable and safe as a single female traveler."
