"Last minute booking, and there was only 1 room available. It was a gorgeous room, with luxurious features, including a 4 poster bed, and free standing bath. The restaurant is an authentic Italian and the menu was sublime, which oozed quality - both in the ingredients and presentation, all served very attentively. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of continental options too, a full English was an optional extra. "

"Visited end of August 2024. Lovely warm welcome. Wonderfully friendly host. Fabulous breakfast. Google Maps (SatNav) takes you very easily straight to the adjoining car park. Plenty of free parking for cars, but a bit tight getting into the entrance. I was sleeping in a top floor room with window open - It was quite noisy from what I think is a pub nearby. Otherwise, very good all round."

"First time we have stayed in an accommodation like this and it was fantastic. Like a home away from home. Very clean, extremely well stocked kitchen for breakfast to help yourself when you wanted, no time limit. Ample parking just outside. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. "We wanted to find a pub with good food and close to Rutland waters to go biking. We stayed at the Fox and Hounds in Exton for 2 nights. It is situated next to a beautiful grassy square of big, mature trees. Big, safe parking area. The pub area is gorgeous, lovely big fireplaces, variety of seating.
