"Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't use many of the amenities as we were in town for a birthday party, but it provided a very relaxing base for us and our 3 kids. Very comfortable beds with lovely quality sheets and beautiful views into the countryside. We'd stay again."

"The room was modern and spotlessly clean, although compact; kettle, beverages, hairdryer and ironing board provided, along with a good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. A slight downside was that the rear access (fire escape) and kitchen extractor system were right outside our window, so a bit noisy in the late evening and early morning. However, this was more than compensated for by the friendly, helpful staff, who really did cheerfully...

"We had a family room, 3 adults and 2 children, at the last minute we had to bring the dog, Lorraine was very accommodating, we stayed for 2 nights and only got charged £10 extra for the dog, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely, would definitely stay here again. Excellent parking at the hotel."

"Fabulous from start to finish. We had a complimentary upgrade and room was fab. Huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits replenished daily. Breakfast fabulous selection of juices, fruits, cereals and yogurts and great choice of cooked breakfasts - all needs catered for vegetarian and gluten free too. Hosts so welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be returning next year"

"We had a lovely stay. We were made to feel welcome and our room was lovely. The only issue we had was the noise from neighbouring rooms walking about upstairs and locking/unlocking their door, downside of an older house."
