The National Trusts Lyme Park is around a 10-minute drive away, and both Hazel Grove (0.7 miles) and Stockport (1.7 miles) golf courses are easily accessible. Cycle trails such as the traffic free Middlewood Way and Sett Valley Trail can be picked up locally and by car you can reach the Peak District National Park in a mere 10 minutes.
