"The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. "We were warmly welcomed and provided with excellent information about the hotel, dining options and a Basel Travel card to use on all public transport. Reception staff were excellent. Public transport stops are located close by the hotel as is old town, which is an easy walk. Hotel rooms were a great size with very good amenities. The restaurant on site provides an excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this Hotel."
