"The staff were excellent. The Xmas decorations lovely. Made to feel very welcome. The food I had was excellent. There is a nice bar attached just refitted, Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a nice touch also. One of the few hotels I have had a decent sleep in their beds. It is on a busy road so during the week the traffic starts around 6.30 but not really an issue as I would be be getting up for work. They make really good proper scramble eggs for breakfast. "Beautiful house and location. The breakfast was great. I had the French toast both day. Our hosts were friendly and gave us some good tips. The house is in the country so you have to drive a few miles to the closest restaurants."
