Convenient in centre of village. Pleasant grounds. Rooms rather too warm .Window not able to be opened. Overall very satisfactory.
We loved our stay at The Inn Castledawson. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, our room was quiet and clean with a beautiful river view and the food in the restaurant was top quality and included a good range of vegetarian options.
Room is ok for a one night stay, bed really low to the ground and TV is really small. Bathroom has a tiny sink and a spilt mirror so i could only see half my face unless i bent down or stood on my toes. Staff were friendly and breakfast was gorgeous.
Lovely staff who would go above and beyond to help out. The hotel had a Gorgeous view backing out on to a river which could also be seen from hotel restaurant through a floor to ceiling arched window. This hotel really was a great find and like I said the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning when I’m next in Ireland!
Genuinely friendly staff. Ms. Paula, who manages the property (which includes a picturesque backyard and babbling river behind it), is a wonderfully engaging and a proactively attentive professional. From a hotel stay perspective, we were very happy. The hotel's restaurant was not perfect, though. Whereas the salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, the steak was over-cooked and not cooked to temperature. Otherwise, though, the food was appropriately what one would expect from an inn. All in all, we were very happy and plan to return.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Suit skinny people
The bar is pretty basic no draught beer portions for dinner and breakfast small
We had a wonderful stay at the Inn - every comfort catered for - room was very mod and had all you could possibly expect more like a 4star hotel - food was superb but the highlight was the friendly staff and most welcoming host - the lady owner.
Cannot fault anything, the hotel restaurant is definitely top class. All facilities to cater for business travellers as well as tourists ona conventional holiday.
The Hotel is very well presented with fresh, high quality decor and fantastic rooms. The food too was top notch! The owner made an effort to chat to the guests which was just as well as I was there midweek and it was very quiet. A very comfortable and plesent stay.
Room was large and very clean. Staff very freinly and helpfull. Gave us directions as needed. Food was outstanding. Overall enjoyed it. Was only there for one night, but looking back should have stayed 2.
Beautiful village on the water in a central location close to Giant's Causeway, Ulster-American FolkPark and Belfast. Food was the best we had on our 10 day trip.
