"This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"Clean, older cabin. The picture shows a simple white sided cabin. It does not show the cabin 6 feet to the side, with all kinds of stuff in the the yard. Also, the area has some nice smaller cabins, and some pretty run down cabins. Inside, just fine, outside, not so nice "

The owner was a great communicator, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the location was great to explore the Munising area, Pictured Rocks, Grand Island and many hiking trails. I would highly recommend this cabin for up to 6 people. "

"Had a great experience and is a beautiful location. It’s just remote enough for privacy but close enough to multiple activities and sightseeing spots. Well maintained, clean, and easy communication with the owners. We even saw fresh water jellyfish in the lake; don’t worry they don’t stink and are only the size of a quarter, completely harmless. Campfires by the lake at night were a perfect way to end the day. "

"This was an absolute perfect isolated spot to unwind. My partner and I stayed early October- peak fall color season- with our senior dog. The view was absolutely amazing. The cabin had everything you could possibly need. There are neighbors but they're far enough and trees provide a great deal of privacy so hardly noticed they were there.
