"We loved our stay in this log cabin. It was calm, very relaxing and just what we needed. The cabin was fully equiped, clean and comfortable. We lit the log burner each night and just relaxed on the sofa. The area was also great to explore - many walks in the forests or on the beach are are possible. The owner, Cathrin, was very clear, timely, helpful and friendly in her communication with us. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!"

"We stayed for one night before taking the ferry over to Norway. The place was lovely but the two sofa beds were very firm so it was difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep. There were no trash receptacles so we had to find a plastic bag to use The beach was incredible so because of that we would stay here again. "

A gem! Never judge a book by its cover

"Honest to goodness seemingly effortless Scandi design that pays homage to the era in which the building was built. Why rebuild a 1960's building when all you need to do is maintain it and stay true to the its original function and design. Can't get any higher eco credentials than that."

Decent budget hotel

"The hotel is located 5 minutes drive away from the ferry terminal, which was the reason we booked it in the first place. Our stay was pleasant overall. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but you can get complimentary tea and a decent coffee at reception, but they close at 9pm. Breakfast was average, with one or two hot food options - hard boiled eggs and omelet. Given the same requirements i would stay there again."
