"Whilst a little dated, the bed in the economy double room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The room itself was dark (not great lighting and one window looking over a small yard). The bathroom was OK. The shower was over a high sided bath and was a mixer rather than thermostatic. Plenty of hot water. Towels were fluffy and big! "Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable.
