"Good place for the price. Decor & furnishings are a bit dated,hence the price. Close to casino & restaurants. Good size fridge,micro,ironing board,TV in our room. Will return."

The color coordinated hallways and rooms are very neat and well chosen. Thanks much for a memorable fine stay, for western Virginia. Plan to stay again when come fishing this area this coming spring."

"Our stay at the GW this time was pretty good. The hotel is a great stop on our travels and we look forward to it every time. This time, I opted for the Junior Suite since we had had a stressful trip thus far. The room itself was great, the bed was comfortable and the room service was timely. The fireplace worked great on the cold night. The only part that I was not satisfied with was the shower. The handle was very loose, and I felt like I was going to break it. I hope this gets fixed, because I would really like to book the Junior Suite again."

"The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only issue was we were placed in an adjoining room with a couple that decided to have a party. Calling the front desk did not make a difference in the noise level. Also, the lights in the room, did not have real shades so the lightbulbs were very bright making us unable to turn on the lights. "
