"Had a lovely few days in Whitstable. Cottage was beautifully decorated and clean with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Really great location in the heart of Whitstable. Will definitely stay again. "

"We had an absolutely brilliant time, staying at Dale and Nina’s. Really liked the decor of the house and the location is perfect. Everything worked well and no issues with parking close to the property as we arrived later in the day. Our children are 3 & 5 and loved the place too. We’ll defo be back, thanks for having us. "

"Great property. Owner was helpfull and very pleasent. The property has a beautiful wood burner which heated the property as well as central heating.Large kitchen/dinning room/ sitting room so if cooking you do not feel left out from the rest of the group/ family. The garden was large garden fir Bbq would be great for BBQs."

"Lovely and spacious. Beautiful decor and fantastic kitchen with great appliances. Was a great place to stay and the under floor heating was a great extra in the kitchen!"

"A nice cozy house on 4 floors. Check in was straight forward and the house was clean, comfortable and well kitted out for our stay. Close to the harbour and the house Van Gogh lived in when he was there. Highly recommend!"

"Very helpful host, comfortable house. Interesting area. Parking is free outside but it can be hard to find a space! A few small points to be sorted in the house, almost certainly fixed by now. All in all, we had a good break. "

"We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. We’d recommend Margarita’s for take away pizza and Mike’s Bikes for cycle hire. Walking distance into Deal from the cottage was about 30mins, which along the seafront was no time at all. Near perfect

"The stay was great, bedding comfortable, breakfast tasty. What was a really nice touch is the person at reception remembering my name. I'm not sure if that's part of the role, or my pink cat hoodie made me difficult to forget. The only negative is that the TV didn't have chromecast built in, so I couldn't watch youtube/netflix/prime/etc "

"The hotel is family run and this is reflected by the staff who were very friendly throughout our 4 night stay. In house carvery and restaurant was good for an excellent meal. Also excellent breakfasts. The hotel is in walking distance from the city centre but there are also regular buses. The property is kept very clean and our room had a huge comfortable bed. The hotel was ideal for our short stay. I would chose to stay there again if I visit the area."

Well worth a visit if in Dover overnight.

"We booked the room on Hotel.com crossing from Calais after a challenging few days with a car that had broken down going through border control. The room was well priced, although a little small and tired, but so were we! On arrival we got a very warm welcome at the lovely reception. "
