"We were checking in late after they closed the office at 9pm. I called the office and spoke with Christina who was able to give us the information for our room and also placed two sack lunches for food to snack on once we arrived. The grocery store would not have opened till 3pm. It was very clean in the room with kitchen utensils and quiet. It was a bonus that the hot tun was open all hours but we didnt have a chance to use it. There is no reception at the location, for some it may be a good place to break away from the busy lives we sometimes live. Thank you for the stay! "

"We love being out in nature at Great Basin and also seeing the nature around us right at the cabin. The birds including owls were amazing and the view is beautiful. Rowena and Rex are fabulous hosts and our kids enjoyed a tour of their chicken coop to see the chicks. This was our third time staying here and we will definitely be back."
