Vintage trailer in good condition with working kitchen and good wifi. Near/at Great Basin National Park. Good communication with owner and comfortable bed. Nice seating outside with grill in the summer.

Pleasant retro stay with great hosts
The trailer was clean and made for a pleasant stay in the area. The hosts were great. With a storm coming in they made sure we had sufficient heating to stay warm at night. The kids enjoyed it, and liked the bunk beds.

It was rustic, as expected, but it had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. My wife and I had plenty of room. We used the grill and hot plate for our meals without problems. There were a lot of lights throughout the interior, which we appreciated. The owners were friendly and unobtrusive. They live right behind the trailer. It is very close to Great Basin National Park. If the park is your destination, this is a perfect place to stay.

Vintage Remodeled Trailer
Rex and Rowena met us when we arrived and told us about the trailer, the property, the area, and themselves. Very nice couple! Very cute, remodeled trailer, close to the Great Basin National Park and surrounding historical sites. Loved the deer coming into the apple orchards at dusk and early mornings. The owls in the tree above were such a wonderful sound!

Home base while exploring the area
We stayed here while visiting Great Basin National Park and were able to cook all of our meals. (There is a hot plate, microwave, grill and full-size refrigerator.) The bedrooms were clean and cozy; I believe the couch let out into another bed. The bathroom is a Jack & Jill set up, which is fine with us. We ate our meals at the picnic table and on the front porch. Our son was mystified that families used to live in trailers this size. 😆

Weekend getaway
This was a lovely place to stay for a weekend trip to Great Basin. I loved watching the sun rise over the mountains and seeing all the stars come out at night. Easy access to the park and great places to eat in Baker.

We had a great time at Rex & Rowena’s property. We saw some really cool wildlife (including great horned owls) and beautiful sunsets from just right outside the door. Lots of things to do in the national park and within an hour drive over to Gandy area. The trailer was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were kind and accommodating.

Great Central Location
This place worked for us to rest our heads after exploring Great Basin. Saw a buck, an owl and the biggest jack rabbit I've ever seen while watching the full moon rise. AC is excellent!

This was a cute little place for our family to stay. It is an older trailer but they really tried to make it comfortable. The closets were a little dirty and there was evidence of mice but in the living areas, it was well maintained. We were there in April and it was cold but they provided heaters that we kept running. The property was nice to walk around on, with cats and birds to watch. It was super close the Great Basin.

A wonderful stay
This 1960s mobile home has a great vintage feel, and we spent time outside in the yard with the beautiful fruit trees as well. The a/c kept us cool when needed. Rex and Rowena were great hosts! I definitely hope to come back.

Wonderfully Quaint and Comfortable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the R+R Rest Stop. Rex and Rowena are hospitable hosts, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, but other than that, you wouldn't even know that the trailer was just steps away from their home. The trailer is clean and has all the necessities you need for a multi-day stay - and is super convenient for getting to and from the National Park, as well as reaching the dining options in town.

Beautiful Location
Perfect place to stay for our Great Basin National Park visit. Comfortable bed, good water pressure for showers and stocked with everything we needed. This location is close to the general store, which has great products and a coffee bar. Also close to local restaurants. We dined at Sugar, Salt & Malt twice! Rex & Rowena were very welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy
We were the first guests of 2024 and took a chance with the weather. We lucked out for the most part, but there were high winds overnight both nights. We felt very secure and comfortable in the trailer. We brought all of our food and cooked our meals on the 2-burner electric cooktop (one large burner, one small). The kitchen had everything we needed but finicky cooks may want to bring their own pots/pans as the kitchenware is well-worn. The sink is quite small, which made doing dishes a bit challenging but we made do. It's a trailer, after all! There's not much in the immediate vicinity but we enjoyed walking with our dog through the adjacent orchard in the evenings. The Lehman Cave tour was cool. The Wheeler Peak road was closed due to snow but we enjoyed hiking outside the park at Lower Hendry's Creek. Overall a great experience and we enjoyed it very much.

Great place to stay to visit Great Basin National Park. Not a 5 star hotel, but there are none of those in this area! In fact, very hard to find lodging close to Great Basin and this was SOOO convenient! Plus we love to be able to cook our own food and pack lunches (not many restaurants around either!) The hosts even provided us with fresh eggs from their chickens!
