From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, combining rustic charm with modern comforts.The location was absolutely perfect – tucked away in a serene wooded area yet close enough to explore Mount Airy’s quaint shops and attractions. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and enjoying coffee on the porch with stunning views was a highlight of the trip.The amenities exceeded expectations, with a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a hot tub to unwind after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for adventure, this cabin is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!"

"The Bank Street Bungalow was more than we expected. Very clean and cozy. It felt like home. We loved everything about it. Liz even contacted Mother Nature and had her deliver 5” of snow!!! We had a great weekend walking around Mt Airy (Mayberry) and hanging out in the house. Liz was a great host. She was very responsive to all my messages and kept me up-to-date on the weather before our arrival. Her husband even shoveled the driveway before we arrived so we could park. We are planning our next trip back to Mt Airy so we can visit their precious town, since most everything was closed due to the weather. We will definitely stay at Bank Street Bungalow again. "

"This property has a lot of potential. The facility itself is large and welcoming. However, our room needs a deep clean. Lots of dirt on the floors in the corners of the bathroom surfaces like the toilet paper holder just are not clean thoroughly. The heating system runs off and on all through the night and was very very loud and kept us from sleeping."
