"the home was exactly as described. would recommend and come back anytime. you can choose to unplug or use WIFI which worked well. the bathroom was very nice with the heated floors and clawfoot tub. the bedroom was nice with comfy sheets and a very firm mattress (if this is your taste). we also enjoyed the walking trail which was well marked. the home is very private and peaceful to sit out on the deck. my only issue and this is my preference is there are no blinds or curtains in the bedroom. the...

"Loved staying in the Bright carriage house. Perfect size for us and great location. Had everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to accommodate us. If you are in the area, please consider this unit or the Ganister House next door. You will be hard pressed to find better accommodations!"

"My husband was doing a job in the area with his brothers and nephews. This cabin perfectly suited their needs; it was clean and comfortable and the guys loved being able to relax around the firepit at the end of the day and listen to the owls and wildlife. They cooked all their meals at the cabin and enjoyed themselves thoroughly! Even managed to get in a little bit of fishing at the end of the road. "

"Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. "

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"My daughter and I really enjoyed our ten-day stay in Granville, along the Juniata River. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful in this out-of-the way location, but just a short drive to town for supplies. The free-range chickens were entertaining but made a mess on the front porch. However, the care taker swept and hosed it off regularly. I would rent this place again."
