"Beautiful cottage. Great combination of rustic / modern appointments. Very well equipped and dog friendly. We absolutely loved having our girl there with us for the weekend. The property is absolutely serene and stunning. Pictures do not even do it justice. We were able to snowshoe the trails on the property. It was an absolute winter wonderland. In addition to all of this, two of the best hosts I’ve met in my history of renting VRBO / Airbnb type properties. Carol and Dan are extremely kind, personable and knowledgeable folks. They are at the ready to answer any questions / accommodate their guests to ensure a wonderful stay. Thanks for everything!"

"Trout Lake has been an annual summer trip for us for the last 7 years and this house is our favorite rental by far. The cottage is cozy, but well appointed. We love the extensive waterfront in this beautiful cove and spend most of our time on the pontoon, in kayaks, hanging out on the dock or in the game room, and playing in the beautifully clear water. This year there were brand new kayaks to use and a new paddle board! The pontoon is incredibly easy to use and provides tons of fun out on the lake. While we would love for one of the rooms to have a king bed, we have been comfortable with the queens offered, and the twin allows for an extra visitor or friend to come. We cant wait to book again for next summer. Sarah makes the process incredibly easy and we love staying at her rentals!"

"Boyd Pond is really more of a private lake. It’s a nice size… big enough to explore and it never felt crowded. It was small enough that we felt safe letting our teen boys boat by themselves. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, bye nearby towns are very small and you need to drive around 30min to get to a grocery store, ice cream etc. We did take a day trip to Wescott Park and spent the day on the beach on Lake Ontario and highly recommend that. The lack of tourist offerings was exactly why we chose this place and we spend my triple days enjoying the property. We all caught fish from the backyard boat area. Out boys would take the fishing row boat out in the evenings and loved it. We swam, kayaked, paddle boarded and relaxed. Most of the houses are in one side so you have a great view of the hemlock forest on the other side. The hosts are a very friendly couple who are in and out and available by text. We met Teresa’s two daughters and they went out of their way to make our daught feel welcome. The neighbor on the other side was also friendly and easy to talk to. We had a great week and were happy we stumbled upon this beautiful area. It was exactly what we needed to take a break from our busy lives."
