"Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again"

"Room was clean and King Size bed was comfortable. Water pressure in sink was slow until I worked out how to increase it. Full English breakfast was huge and one of the best I have had in any B & B or hotel. Located in a quiet rural village and convenient for Rutland Water."

"Quirky! Low ceilings, uneven floors, very old building. Landlord is friendly, as are the staff. Good breakfasts! Live music some evenings. Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for visiting my mum!"

"The landlord / manager Chris was fantastic . Very friendly and helpful and what an asset to the establishment he is . Will return when we are in the area . The rooms comfy bed and great selection of teas and coffee in the room. Also liked that fact milk in a bottle not pods . Pub - lovely meal and wine ! And great breakfast included . Tks again "

"My partner and Ioved staying here for our first little getaway together. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and cook dinner, the WiFi was good enough for us to watch Disney+ and it was closed to Cambridge park and ride for a day out. Would recommend and stay again. "

"Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. Fairly large secluded garden, with several outdoor seating areas. Quiet area, easy parking for 3 – 4 vehicles. Very quick responses from excellent, obliging host. Only improvement...
