Overlooking the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, guests can access the river via two separate public boat landings in under a five minute drive. The property borders River Bend Ranch, a 250 acre working ranch which offers horseback trail rides to riders of all skill level. The apartment offers magnificent views of the ranch and large riding ring.
The property is 20 miles from the Thornton Gap Entrance of Skyline Drive. Skyline Drive is a 105-mile road that runs the entire length of the Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The drive provides access to numerous trails, including the Appalachian Trail, and it is also used for biking and horseback riding. Skyline Drive is the main road through Shenandoah National Park and has access to campgrounds, visitor centers, and resorts such as Skyland Resort and Big Meadows.
