"This hotel is very convenient for regular buses into Oxford city centre and was a perfect spot for our two day visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the gluten free options that were available. The bar and seating area are very comfortable and inviting with a lovely patio area also available. I wasn't happy with the sign saying we had to pay for car parking. Not sure why people with a car should have this additional payment, however, in the end we had the charge dropped. Would definitely put me off staying in future if this was enforced."

"The property is absolutely a hidden gem!!! My husband and I absolutely loved the decor and everything the property offered. We stayed in a suite that screamed vampire vibes, which we TOTALLY love!!! We also had dinner and breakfast on property. The blackened cod with asparagus was perfect and my husband had the pad Thai, which he also raved about. Breakfast was also exquisite! The staff was super friendly and the manager was so personable. We can’t wait to stay there again."

"We were staying for a wedding, beautiful hotel, old fashioned rooms but bit size and nice bathroom. Pillows not the most comfortable or the beds! Staff lovely and very helpful, nothing was a trouble when I asked for something. Beautiful grounds"

"We arrived very late after 11pm, but still received a very warm welcome, got checked in quickly and invited for breakfast the next morning. Room was clean, good enough amenities too. Buffet breakfast was excellent, decent quality of ingredients and free flowing coffee. I would stay here again for sure. "

"Well located with a 30 min walk into the City Centre or jump on one of the many buses at the end of the road. Parking is £10 per 24 hours but there were no spaces when we arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday. Fortunately street parking is available after this time and on a Sunday"
