"Lovely pool by our apartment. Nice appartment clean had partial seaview too. Hotel over looking the sea with nice bar area. Ideally situated at the bottom of lawrence gap and close to bus stop to Oistens and touring the island. "

"We loved our stay at Sugar Bay. The staff are wonderful and the location is beautiful. The food is some of the best quality we’ve had at an all inclusive. There is a slightly more limited choice for food compared to some of the bigger hotels, but it is varied enough (with themes some nights to break it up) to ensure you don’t get fed up. There is a great beach side bar, with a great choice of cocktails and a beer/wine/brut when you want something less sweet. The cocktails are good quality, but understandably not quite city cocktail bar standard. However, certainly good quality for an all inclusive, and always served quick. The bar staff were fantastic too. The staff around the hotel, especially Kimberly and Shamara who were seen cleaning around the ground floor, always greeted you with a smile and conversation. The rooms were nice, but without many frills, and some slight cosmetic damages - but with the beach as beautiful as it was you didn’t want to spend any time in there anyway! "

"We enjoyed the beach experience; pool experience and the pool bar. Compared with many hotels, especially on the West Coast, the beach area is large with plenty of beds. The sea can be a little rough but is still quite safe for bathing."

"Great ocean views and access to the water! Friendly staff and good breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Excellent location in the St Lawrence Gap. Checkout was noon therefore could enjoy the morning."

"I went to Barbados to celebrate my Mother's birthday the week of January 6th. Words cannot express how amazing this hotel is. It truly felt like a home away from home. On our first night we got complimentary rum punch, and 10 percent off of dinner. The staff was on point with cleaning our room and supplying us with towels and other necessities. We loved the ease of access to the restaurants and bars along the strip. We also enjoyed the street food and trying out the gap burger! Additionally, the hotel staff surprised my mother with a bottle of wine and balloons for her birthday. I had such an enjoyable time and will make sure to come back again!"
